All Championships

GENERAL INFORMATION
 
Performance Order
The Performance Order will be determined by the number of registrations. Specific performance times will be available on COA’s website at www.COAcheeranddance.com on the Friday one week out from the Championship, after 5:00 p.m. EST. All times are subject to change due to cancellations and additions beyond COA’s control. COA will update the performance times on Tuesday after 5:00 p.m. EST with any additions or cancellations, so that you have the most up to date information. Please print off this order and bring it with you the day of the Championship.

Although we make every effort to follow the performance order as closely as possible, the nature of any “Live” event requires flexibility. We encourage you to stay informed of any possible changes in performance times the day of the event. COA cannot be held responsible for parents and spectators who miss performance or award ceremonies. All times are approximate, subject to change & can fluctuate by as much as one hour in each direction.

Championship Parking
Parking lot and gates usually open 2 hours prior to the championship. Parking rates vary from $5 - $25 based on the location. These rates are determined by the host city, host facility or host hotel, not by COA. Please do not call the COA office for specific rates. When there are concurrent events at in the host city or host venue, extra travel time is also advised.

Cell Phones & No Smoking
Out of respect for the athletes and other spectators, please turn off all cell phones and beepers upon entering the performance areas. All COA Championship Facilities are non-smoking.

COA is Going Green
In an effort to become more environmentally conscious, COA is making strides to become a “green” company. Beginning with our Championship Programs, COA will not provide a program at our championships. We will post the order of performance at ticket sales and at our merchandise area. If you would like a hard copy of the order of performance please visit our website on Tuesday and bring it with you. And remember to recycle your paper and plastic products. Thanks for helping in our endeavor to stop global warming.

JAMwear
COA will have merchandise available for sale at the event.

Concessions
Coolers and food will not be permitted in the performance area. Food and beverages will be sold during the championship at the concession stand.

Crowd Control, Seating & Handicap Seating
In the interest of public safety, COA asks you to take a moment to identify your nearest exit, in event of an emergency, at the championship. Keep in mind, the nearest exit may not be in your direct view. For safety reasons, please keep all aisles clear and open. We appreciate your cooperation. At designated COA Championships, COA provides a designated area for friends and families of the performing teams. Once your team’s performance is finished, please exit quickly as directed. All other seating is general admission and seat saving is not permitted. COA provides a designated handicap section at all COA Championships.

Excessive Noise
COA appreciates your enthusiasm; however, while the athletes are performing, please refrain from excessive noise and movement in the performance areas, including the stadium seating. Air horns are prohibited in the performance rooms.

Judging
The decision of the judges is final.

Practice Area
Only athletes and coaches are permitted to enter the practice area.

Sportsmanship
COA’s goal is to provide a great experience for every athlete, coach, and spectator. In turn, we encourage you to help us by practicing good sportsmanship and exhibiting respect, encouragement, and a positive attitude towards others.

Video Cameras
Mr. Video is the official videographer of COA. You may order your videos onsite at the Mr. Video booth. Video taping is not permitted when Mr. Video Productions is present at the event. Listed below are the events Mr. Video Productions has confirmed for the 2010-2011 Championship season:
